We are planning a seminar for 2011 to bring together members of the public, owners of older houses, and restoration experts to help people learn more about best practice in maintaining the exterior of an older property.
The event will take place in Heysham and will be a mixture of presentations by preservation and heritage industry experts, a question and answer session, demonstrations of techniques and a tour of the Heritage Centre and Cottage - Heysham’s 17th Century Longhouse.
The event is suitable for anyone interested in the history of buildings, members of the construction industry, students, local historians, local residents and anyone owning or thinking of buying an historic property.
